Yea, at that day, we performed the best like we ever did in practice before the day. After knowing the result, I am of course a little sad. However, I kept telling myself people win because they sound very convincing though not so sure about one team that get in.
Today, my mind does not think that way anymore. I was a little regret... ONe of the judges kept giving comments and I felt rude to stop it. So, I dont get the chance to answered. The comments went like this,"I am concern that if you send those vegetables there, USA, it will be that fresh anymore? " and also, " I am concern about your refrigerated transportation cost." When he said all that, I had the answer on top of my head because i thought of this before. But ahh.. firstly, I felt bad to stop him and secondly, it sounds more like comment that asking me. As for the other previous groups, they were like asking why, how? and stuff like that. Not for ours. :( I should have ask for permission to voice out my answer, saying that it is enzyme now, and it is no longer a raw fruits like you buy in the market anymore. :( i didn't. for the other one, i would have say we are concern about our transportation cost and as you can see there, our transportation stand around 10% percent our pricing. UGH!!!! Like seriously.
After seeing other group, they actually STOP them halfway and like answer their wonders. HOW stupid am i. I had the answer. :( the other is we should have just fake that our product is approve by the Food & Drug Administration of USA. :( After us, I saw one of the group comparing other product and state that others doesn't have both the halal cert where theirs have. LOL. We thought of that also. LOL
I dont know hwen i can go over this. MAybe i should keep telling myself that our voices are not convincing enough like others which is also one of the part that they see but still i am not really sure for one of the team. MAybe their research is like super good. Really feel jealous for them.
Words to tell junior from the characteristic i see from those winners:
1. more convincing
2. So, dont take any play card (NON) just look at the slide
3. LOL, of course, more confident
4. More content
5. Is okay to have more than 7 words in one slide
6. Ensure all the aspects is there
7. maybe do a tv commercial
8. transportation
9. BRanding-- the way you name your product
10. Q&A section
11. Dont be rude when answering. (there is one when judege said something adn a particpant answered, "Do you think ... can keep warm?" Then, it should be enough to just asked once to the judge but then the person continued asking again, "Do you think ... can keep warm?" in a strong, firm and a little fierce way. Do you?! OMg.. quite scary. for me, during the presentation, they are actually more convincing.
Our reason where we dint win (maybe only)
1. not so convincing/ confident?
2. taking play card?
3. technical problem? (maybe not so, others also have but again not those winning team)
4. the FDA of USA
5. the transportation
6. didnt offer explanation. :(
Maybe you may think, it is just my instinct but after the end of the competition a judges went up and told us we actually did great. So, waht's the reason actually? :( Q&A? Ahhh! Should just think it is because we are not convincing but... Ah.. no more but.
